Saint John River, New Brunswick

Saint John, #s 2,3,4,5

These were among a cluster of about 15 tires on the north shore of the Saint John River, below the walking bridge. They were the only ones I could easily retrieve, and I had no room in my canoe for more. Most of the other ones there may never be removed, they weigh hundreds of pounds and are mired in the gravel.

This monster tractor tire on the right, and its sister lurking unseen in the bush behind it, can only be removed by a tractor, I'm sure.
