tire #14 in unnatural habitat
The waste tire as I found it in its unnatural habitat, May 25, 2006.

I had found this a month earlier while out walking, lying on the bank, and set it on the top of the bank for easy pickup later by canoe. I don't think it was ever used, the tread is not worn at all.

By the time I got back to it with my canoe, someone had rolled it back into the river. Someone is working against me, someone who feels they can make a problem go away by sinking it in the river.
